Nurse

In the Health Office, it is our primary objective to keep students and staff healthy to achieve optimum academic success for each student. Some of the services that we provide include:

  • Vision, hearing and health screenings
  • Making sure every student is up to date on their vaccinations
  • Providing Health Education
  • Assisting our community in accessing health care.

We always attempt to reach a parent or guardian by phone when a student comes to the health office. We ask that if a student is injured or ill, they come to be evaluated in the health office and not call parents or guardians from their cell phones.

If your student has asthma or an allergy that requires an EpiPen or any other emergency medication please make sure that we have this medication at school! If you would like to have any over the counter medications available for your student at school, such as Ibuprofen or Tylenol, allergy medication, or cough drops etc., please take a look at the APS Medication Policy to the right to find the needed forms, or stop by and get a copy from the health office. Please bring the completed form and the medication to the health office in order to have these medications available for your child.
