IC Information

Instructional Counsels are established as part of a collaborative
effort to improve and support the teaching and learning process in the
Albuquerque Public Schools. It is the intent of the District that the
Federation to allow the individuals on each council to use their
collective expertise and experience concerning their site and
community to address school issues that fall with the scope of
instructional improvement.

Our Mission: To address school issues that fall within the scope of
instructional improvement by means of collaborative processes with
the goal to improve and support teaching and learning at Taylor Middle
School.
Taylor IC consists of the ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science
Department Chairs, A representative for the District Programs and
Administration.
We would like to add EA Representation, Parent Representation, and
set members of Student Council. (Remember: representatives must
represent a constituency group in order to be an active member in the
consensus process).

Taylor IC meets every 2 nd Tuesday of the month at 3:15, in the Special
Education portable. You do not have to be a member of the counsel to
attend, everyone is welcome to join our meetings.
